Sources of the budget of the authority are:

       ·              The Federal Government,

     ·              Loans and grants from donor countries and organizations.

    In the pursuit of its objectives, NAIA closely works with different public,      private and international organizations some of which include:

  ·        EARO especially Research institutes and soil research,

  ·        MOA especially Extension and CPPTRD Departments,

  ·        Regional Agricultural Bureaus,

  ·        Cooperative Promotion Commission,

  ·        Educational Institutes especially those of Agriculture,

  ·        Quality and Standard Authority of Ethiopia,

  ·        Environmental Protection Authority of Ethiopia,

  ·        Ethiopian Seed Enterprise,

  ·        International Organizations such as FAO, IDA, UNDP, ISTA, FAI, etc.

  ·        Seed multipliers, Importers of Agricultural Inputs, Investment Offices,

  ·        Professional Agricultural Societies
